AlertNow
SAA uses AlertNow as our automated notification system. Our main use of AlertNow is to notify parents of unexpected school closings via telephone and email. We may also use AlertNow to send general notifications.
What you need to know about receiving calls sent through AlertNow:
- Caller ID will display the school's main number if the message is a general announcement message.
- Caller ID will display 411 if the message is an emergency.
NOTE: All closures due to weather will be tagged as emergency calls. - If there is no answer, AlertNow will leave a message on an answering machine or voicemail.
- If the AlertNow message stops playing, press any key 1-9 and the message will replay from the beginning.
AlertNow's success is dependent upon accurate contact information for each student, so please make sure that we have your most current phone numbers. If this information changes during the year, please let the front office know immediately. You may also email changes to updatemyinfo@scienceandartsacademy.org with your name, your student's name, and the information that needs to be added or changed.
