How do I change my password?
Once you are logged in to Lumen, follow these steps:
- Click on EzStart in the lower left corner.
- Click on Personal Center.
- Click on Change Password.
- Enter your new password in the Password and Re-Type fields.
- Click Save Password and you're done!
I forgot my password; what do I do?
There is no way to retrieve a lost password. You will need to send an email to email@example.com. If you are a parent, include your name, your student's name, and his/her homeroom. If you are a student, include your name and your homeroom. Your account will be reset, and a notification letter with your new password will be emailed to the address we have on record.
I need to update information in the student, guardian or emergency contact records; what do I do?
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, your student's name, and the information that needs to be added or changed. Thanks for keeping your info up to date!
In the parent portal, when I mouse over one of my student's assignments, it flashes repeatedly and is not readable.
What's happening when an assignment flashes is that the description for that assignment is not able to be displayed fully on the screen. To fix it, scroll the page so that the assignment is up near the top or the bottom of the list. Then when you mouse over it, there will be enough space to display the whole description.
In the parent portal, nothing happens when I click on an assignment. Should it bring up a separate page with all of the information for the assignment?
Nothing is supposed to happen when you click on an assignment. The link is there for the mouse over - when you put your curser over the assignment, the description will appear in a separate dialog box. You do not need to click, just mouse over the link.
