Lunch Program
Science & Arts Academy offers a prepaid lunch and milk program run by Gourmet Gorilla. Gourmet Gorilla, Inc. is a food service company providing meals within the education environment. They emphasize regional and organic fresh foods and believe in the importance of helping students build a connection between their personal health and where their food comes from. The menus are seasonal and feature seasonal fruits and vegetables. Gourmet Gorilla has a peanut-free kitchen and has banned oils with trans fats. Pricing for student meals is as follows:
- $4.25 for hot lunch
- $0.50 each for hormone free milk
- $1.25 each for organic milk
Lunches are ordered and paid for via an online lunch ordering application. Links to Gourmet Gorilla's ordering system are available on this page and on the main home page.
SAA will continue to offer snacks to students through the Aerie at lunch.
