Science & Arts Academy is an independent school and a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization. The Academy does not receive public funding; therefore our revenue is dependent upon tuition, endowment income and fundraising efforts. Tuition costs at independent schools rarely cover the full cost of educating each student. Gifts to the Academy function as essential revenue: Bridging the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student. Supporting our Scholarship Assistance Program for economically disadvantaged students; affording more gifted students the opportunity for an education that is both challenging and supportive. Providing for academic programs, resource expansion and technological enhancements.
