Middle School

Grades 6-8

Middle School is designed for sixth through eighth grade students. The program culminates with eighth grade graduation. 

The middle school years present significant challenges for students — both academically and personally. Our goal is to equip our students with a comprehensive academic foundation, one with the depth necessary to insure high school success. The curriculum adapts to varying ability levels, with high school level course work and credits available. 

The traditional academic areas are enhanced with the classical study of Latin, philosophy, logic and critical thinking, art, music, drama, physical education, and a variety of special programs and enrichment activities. Participation in the school play is optional.

There is life beyond academics and middle school students thrive when there are a variety of opportunities to develop their talents and leadership abilities. Students are active in community service projects, and enjoy participation in various clubs and societies, dances and other social events. Our involved and understanding faculty serve as guides and mentors as students become confident and self-assured, ready to enthusiastically participate in the high school experience.

It is a journey of discovery bringing many challenges and ultimately, many rewards for students, parents and faculty alike.
