Family & School Association

The FSA exists to provide opportunities for students, parents, teachers, and administrators to work and play together in support of SAA. FSA events and activities give both the students and the adults who care about them a chance to spend time together and build friendships within a supportive community.

FSA-sponsored activities include:

• Fall and spring potluck dinners attended by faculty and SAA families

• Welcome events for new and returning families

• Parent coffees featuring speakers on relevant “gifted” topics

• Planning of outside social events (i.e. skating parties) for families

• Sales of SAA logo wear to families

• Teacher Appreciation Meal

• Funding for teacher proposals and school projects

• Fall and spring Scholastic book fairs and teacher wish list book sales

• Coordination and distribution of the school directory
