Join Junior FIRST LEGO League!

In the Junior FIRST LEGO League (Jr.FLL) students in kindergarten through 3rd grade work with LEGO elements and computer software to create solutions to real-world challenges. Guided by adult coaches, students use critical thinking, teamwork, and imagination. Most of all, students HAVE FUN!

In Jr.FLL, students get to:

  • Design and build challenge solutions using LEGO elements
  • Apply real world math and science concepts
  • Research challenges facing today's scientists
  • Learn team building and presentation skills
  • Develop Show-Me posters and present their work at the Jr.FLL Expo hosted by Science & Arts Academy on Saturday, April 10 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

For more information on Jr.FLL, please read the Jr.FLL FAQ, view the Jr.FLL presentation, and visit the Jr.FLL website.

SAA's Jr.FLL Expo on April 10 is free but spaces are limited to 30 teams, so advanced registration is required. To register for the Jr.FLL Expo, please email Randi Carlson and Carolina Susanto at JrLegoLeague@yahoo.com. All teams must be registered with Jr.FLL to participate in the Expo.
