Passive Fundraising
There are many different ways to raise money for SAA without donating it yourself. This type of fundraising is called passive fundraising, and can be a powerful tool if enough people participate. SAA currently participates in several programs which are listed below.
- Box Tops for Education
Earn cash for SAA every time you shop for groceries! Just look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios, Hamburger Helper and Kleenex, in almost every aisle of the store. Just clip the Box Tops logos and turn them in to your homeroom - each one is worth 10 cents! You can also earn money for SAA when you shop online at the Box Tops Marketplace or order books through the Box Tops Reading Room. - Target REDcard
If you have a Target REDcard or a Target Visa, designate SAA as your school at your local store's Customer Service counter or online. Target will donate 1% of your REDcard purchases at Target and Target.com and 1/2% of Target Visa card purchases made anywhere. - Upromise
If you're saving for your child's college education through Upromise, you can link SAA to your account. Retailers will periodically match your spending with school contributions.
