Type to Learn 4 Web
SAA uses Type to Learn 4 Web as our keyboarding program. TTL4 is a comprehensive keyboarding program with a futuristic theme, engaging activities, and real world typing. Since TTL4 is web based, it can be accessed from any computer with internet access. Practice is essential in order to develop good keyboarding skills. A few days a week for 10-20 minutes would be helpful, especially for 3rd-5th grade students.
Please follow the steps below to install TTL4 for use on your home computer.
- To download the program, go to the Type to Learn 4 download page.
- If you have never installed TTL4, you will need to download and install the full version for either Mac (Full TTL4 Application - Mac - Web Version) or Windows (Full TTL4 Application - Windows - Web Version). Both of these are found in the Full Versions section.
- Depending on your internet connection, you may want to pick a convenient time to download the full version of TTL4. Because the program has many features, the file is very large (between 944MB and 970MB) and may take between 20-30 minutes to download.
- If you have already installed TTL4 and the program is telling you a mandatory update has been released and must be installed, you should download and install the upgrade for either Mac (TTL4 Client Upgrade - Mac - All Versions) or Windows (TTL4 Client Upgrade - Windows - All Versions). Both of these are found in the Software Updates - TTL4 Client Updates section.
