Health & Safety
Science & Arts Academy has remained steadfast and resolute in its commitment to the health and safety of all members of our SAA community.

Science & Arts Academy will continue to implement mitigation strategies recommended by public health experts to ensure as safe a learning environment as possible, while carrying out our mission each and every day.
SAA continues to implement safety strategies throughout three major categories, forming the key building blocks incorporated into all facets of school life.

Safety & Security
Science & Arts Academy is committed to the safety and security of our community.
Visiting SAA
Ensuring student safety is our top priority, as we believe a secure environment is essential for learning and growth. Therefore, SAA employs the use of a secure check-in and check-out system for all visitors during school hours (8:30am - 3:30pm). Visiting families are encouraged to be familiar with our Visitor Guidelines.

Bullying Prevention Policy
While there are many different types of conflicts children can experience, educators are trained to recognize the signs and symptoms that distinguish normal peer conflicts from bullying. Bullying is contrary to State law and the policies of Science & Arts Academy. Consistent with federal and State laws and rules governing student privacy rights, SAA faculty and staff are obligated to investigate incidents believed to constitute bullying, and report such incidents to the administration.
