Jr. Kindergarten & Kindergarten
Science & Arts Academy is committed to providing an appropriate and differentiated education for even our youngest students.
Children are guided through our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs by faculty who are uniquely trained to manage the diverse interests, talents and developmental stages present amongst four-to six-year-old children.
Junior Kindergarten
Four-year-olds in Junior Kindergarten participate in enriching and engaging experiences designed to encourage their curiosity and exploration, during either our half-day or a full-day programs.
The Junior Kindergarten curriculum includes language arts development, math readiness, science exploration, social studies, artistic experiences, introduction to French and Spanish, physical education, and more. Teachers also integrate fine and gross motor activities, play, and social emotional learning.
Instruction in our Junior Kindergarten is differentiated to accommodate for varying levels of skill development, ensuring that each child is challenged at their own individual levels.

Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten program provides students the opportunity to learn at a developmentally appropriate level alongside their gifted peers in a stimulating and appropriately challenging all-day program.
As the bridge to first grade is built throughout the year, students will be grouped according to educational and developmental needs in math and reading. Exposure to art, music, drama, science, social studies, physical education, social emotional learning, and world language helps establish a strong educational foundation in all areas while encouraging a love of learning.
