Madame Adamonis, a native of Montreal, is SAA’s middle school French teacher. She received her BA in political science from McGill University in Montreal, and her MA in teaching French from the State University of New York.
Mme. Adamonis first joined the SAA community when her youngest son was an SAA student. Having experience as an educator, and teaching French, she became part of the SAA faculty in 2015.
She believes in the motto "Qui n’avance pas, recule”, translated as “Who does not move forward, recedes”. Mme. Adamonis believes that the world is ever changing, and hopes she can help students take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself.
Outside her classroom, you can find Mme. Adamonis travelling, listening to music (mostly classical), and spending time outdoors. She likes almost all things associated with snow and winter. Her family is also involved in the Chicago area Lithuanian community.
