Welcome from the Director of Enrollment Management

Thank you for beginning to explore the possibilities of Science & Arts Academy for your child!  Children come to SAA from over 60 different communities and a variety of different backgrounds, and leave with a strong academic foundation, an appreciation and respect for self and others, and a passion for lifelong learning.  When you choose Science & Arts Academy, you enter a school community that is committed to fostering students’ academic abilities, creative talents, and emotional growth. 

As Director of Enrollment Management, I work together with families to help navigate each step of the admission process.  My colleagues and I will give you opportunities to learn about our school community and fully connect you with the SAA experience to help determine if SAA is the best match for your child’s educational journey. 

One of the best ways to truly appreciate all we have to offer is to visit our school. A great first step is to join us on a tour to see our students and teachers in action.  Admissions events are offered throughout the year, and provide another opportunity to get to know more about our school community. Current parents are also available and willing to connect with you, share their experiences, and answer your questions.

Choosing a school for your child is an important and often complex decision.  As you begin this journey, I’d like to share a story about one student’s recent experience when completing a shadow day at SAA.  At the end of the visit when his mother asked him how his day went, the child simply looked up with a gleaming smile and said in amazement, “I never knew school could be like this.”  By working together throughout the admissions process, I hope that your child and family can also experience this same type of realization about our truly special and unique school community.
