Sick Policy
While students’ attendance at school is important, it is more critical than ever to monitor student, faculty and staff health daily. We ask all community members to stay home if exhibiting any illness symptoms or fever that are not clearly attributable to a known pre-existing condition. Read the Sick Policy »

Safety & Security
Science & Arts Academy is committed to the safety and security of our community.
Visitor Protocol
SAA employs the use of a secure check-in and check-out system for all visitors seeking access to the building beyond the front office during school hours (8:30am - 3:30pm). All visitors aged 18 and older must provide a valid state-issued identification card with photo, such as a driver’s license, for our credential exchange process through Raptor Technologies. Guests will receive a visitor lanyard and badge to be worn the entirety of their visit. Visiting families are encouraged to be familiar with our Visitor Policy, which also incorporates Covid screening questions.

Bullying Prevention Policy
While there are many different types of conflicts children can experience, educators are trained to recognize the signs and symptoms that distinguish normal peer conflicts from bullying. Bullying is contrary to State law and the policies of Science & Arts Academy. Consistent with federal and State laws and rules governing student privacy rights, SAA faculty and staff are obligated to investigate incidents believed to constitute bullying, and report such incidents to the administration.
