Mr. Munson is an Advisor and teaches art across multiple grade levels at SAA. He has worked in education since 2007 and taught at SAA since 2016. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts Education from Bethel University and is a member of the National Art Education Association (NAEA).
He is a practicing artist, working across various mediums that include painting, sculpture, photography and videography. He brings those skills into his classroom, implementing lessons contextualized by art history that work across a variety of media.
Outside of his studio and classroom, you can find Mr. Munson spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, riding motorcycles, and otherwise enjoying the outdoors.
