We enjoyed hosting GIFTED: What’s it all about? at Science & Arts Academy last week. Presenter Kathy Nilles, Manager of Parent Services and Communications at National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC), gave attendees great insight into identifying and nurturing their gifted and high-ability children.

The NAGC's mission is to support those who enhance the growth and development of gifted and talented children through education, advocacy, community building, and research.  We highly recommend the free resources that NAGC publishes for parents.  In her talk, Kathy referred to an article from NAGC’s Parenting for High Potential magazine called “Finding Your Child’s Best Educational Fit” that she highly recommends to parents.
