1st and 2nd graders enjoyed a special cultural celebration, to culminate the end of their study of Marco Polo. Students rotated around to 8 different parent-led stations to learn more about counties in Europe and Asia. Student learned history, created origami, ate food, played games, and more! Preschool through Kindergarten students enjoyed a visit from a children's librarian from the Des Plaines Public Library. They participated in songs and stories, and received information about the library's summer reading program. |
During science class, kindergartners assembled the remote control function of their Rover and ran it through an obstacle course. Students enjoyed following the circuit blueprints and watching the energy from the gears illuminate the lights.
