
Middle School students enjoyed celebrating all of their achievements at the Roman Banquet during the Illinois Junior Classical League Convention (IJCL). The Convention was great fun and involved a variety of activities and events related to the Greco-Roman World. Students participated in a variety of activities related to the Classics: Certamen, costume contests, art contests, spirit assemblies, etc. Our Certamen team did really well and placed 4th overall. The kids also received awards on some academic and creative contests which are listed below.

Given 3 smoothie recipes that each contain some of the same ingredients, how can we use the ingredients to make the most smoothies if we make at least one type of each smoothie?
After all of their hard work to solve this challenge, students were given a sweet reward today, as they got a chance to make the smoothies!
