Northwestern University's Midwest Academic Talent Search (NUMATS) is a research-validated program that utilizes above-grade-level assessment, as a means of gifted testing. The EXPLORE test, designated for students in grade 8, is administered to students in grades 3 through 6. ACT and SAT, designed for students in grades 11 and 12, are administered to students in grades 6 through 9. Northwestern University's Midwest Academic Talent Search Awards Ceremony took place on Saturday, September 12th. Over 15,000 gifted students from eight Midwestern states competed in NUMATS, and the top 2% were recognized at this awards ceremony at Northwestern. SAA was well-represented at the ceremony, as you can see from the picture. Congratulations to all award winners, as well as all students who participated in NUMATS testing. |
