Student Council would like to thank the entire SAA community for their generosity in the Race for Change Challenge. JK-8th grade homerooms and advisories spent from Monday, April 17th to Friday, April 21st engaged in a penny war amongst each other. Any coins in a room’s jar counted as positive points with paper money counting against them. The competition was heated over this worthy cause.
Thanks to your support, SAA raised nearly $3,000 for the Make A Wish Foundation. Congratulations to the following classes that won pizza parties: Mrs. Maliwanag’s advisory group raised $209.66; Mrs. Centineo’s homeroom raised $293 and Mrs. Vaccarello’s homeroom raised a total of $319.67! Thanks to everyone for making this a successful event for Make A Wish Foundation.
