Thanks to the generosity of the SAA community, On Saturday, June 19, we enjoyed a successful virtual benefit for our school, Annual Benefit, A Midsummer with SAA. The proceeds from the weekend help support the SAA Scholarship Fund, and everything that makes an SAA education special, including academic programs, fine arts, and professional development.

On Saturday evening, we honored Alan Gibby with the Blue Horizon Award for his unwavering support and commitment to the school's mission and core values.

Alan graciously served as SAA’s interim Head of School during the 2012-2013 school-year and was a member of the SAA Board of Trustees from 2015-2021. Now in its fifth year, the Blue Horizon Award recognizes the significant contributions of individuals to Science & Arts Academy.  Alan was a stable, calm, and reassuring presence during his year as interim head, and I am so grateful for his guidance and wisdom both during the transition and throughout my tenure.

On behalf of our outstanding faculty and staff, thank you to everyone who played a part in making our virtual benefit a success, and for your continued support of SAA.
