SAA had a strong representation at the annual Illinois Association for Gifted Children (IAGC) Convention in Naperville the past few days through THREE different presentations by our very own teachers. Mrs. Crabtree and Mrs. Centineo presented "Engaging Gifted Students through Newspaper Writing." Mrs. Vaccarello presented "Beyond Memorization: Infusing Experiential and Simulated Learning into the Curriculum." Then, all three teachers presented together on "How to Integrate a Social-Emotional Curriculum into the K-4 Classroom." They all did a WONDERFUL job! Attendees were engaged, asking questions, taking notes, taking pictures of their slides, and much more!
