Evanston/North Shore Shuttle Program
Science & Arts Academy is pleased to offer round-trip shuttle transportation for families from the Evanston/North Shore area starting in fall 2026.
Chicago Chaperoned Metra Program
Science & Arts Academy offers daily, round-trip chaperoned Metra service from Chicago between the Clybourn and Des Plaines Metra stations, with shuttle transport between the Des Plaines Metra station and SAA (0.5 mile distance).

SAA’s chaperoned Metra program didn’t just make it possible for our kids to receive the amazing gifted education SAA offers – though that would have been enough. The program helped our kids transition into SAA with other students from across the city of Chicago. SAA PARENT
The chaperoned Metra program is a community within a community at SAA. For our daughter, who is new to the school this year, it has provided an opportunity to immediately feel included, make new friends and further develop her independence. The program is an illustration of the adage “the journey is the destination” and we are thrilled to be part of it.
