Option 1: Preschool Half-Day Program
9:00am - 12:00pm
Eligibility
The Half-Day Preschool Program is open to children who are 3 years old on or before January 1, 2026. Campers must be completely toilet-trained.
Overview
The Preschool Half-Day Program provides a holistic experience that combines school readiness, learning, and fun for children preparing for the upcoming school year. Each two-week session is built around a thematic, multi-disciplinary curriculum (e.g. math, reading, science, art, etc.) that encourages academic, social-emotional, and physical development.
Activities are engaging and interactive, and are designed with the differentiated development and educational needs of each child. Examples of previous session themes include insects, plants, outer space, weather, ocean and community safety.
Schedule
The front door carline drop-off or walk-up begins at 8:45am.
Campers are assigned to a Preschool classroom with a maximum capacity of 12-14 campers led by two teachers. Mornings include opening and closing circle time, enrichment activities, self-directed centers, playtime, snack time, and recess breaks.
- The front door dismissal carline or walk-up begins at 12:00pm for Half-Day campers.
- Half-Day campers do not eat lunch at Summer Adventures.
- Preschool Half-Day campers are eligible for Beforecare only.

Option 2: Preschool Full-Day Program
9:00am - 3:00pm
Eligibility
The Preschool Full-Day Program is open to children who are 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026. Campers must be completely toilet-trained.
Overview
Campers in the Preschool Full-Day Program receive all the benefits of classroom enrichment in the morning, plus additional opportunities to get outside, visit the local water park, and play fun camp games during the afternoon
Teachers facilitate cooperative activities that get campers moving around, improving physical fitness, and developing gross motor and coordination skills.
Campers will visit Mystic Waters Family Aquatic Center twice per week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, weather permitting.
Schedule
The front door carline drop-off or walk-up begins at 8:45am.

The Half-Day Kindergarten Program is open to all children who are 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026. All campers must be completely toilet-trained.

Campers in the Kindergarten Half-Day Program experience learning in an inclusive and nurturing environment. Our whole-child approach focuses on creating a balance between social-emotional development, academic growth, and Kindergarten readiness.
This program combines morning enrichment activities and the routines of a typical school day with play to build academic and social skills needed to successfully begin Kindergarten.

- Kindergarten Full-Day campers are eligible for Before and/or Aftercare services.
