Ms. Trauth joined the SAA community in 2016 and brings over ten years of experience and passion working with children of all ages. Ms. Trauth has worked for many schools and organizations as a camp counselor, teaching assistant and lead teacher.
Ms. Trauth started as a camp counselor for our summer program, Summer Adventures in Learning, and joined the SAA staff in 2017 as the aftercare supervisor and substitute teacher. She then took on the role of an aid in our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms.
She currently serves as our early childhood aid, as well as works with students in the GEMS ( Girls Excelling in Math and Science) club. During the summer months, Ms. Trauth works as a lead preschool teacher for SAA's Summer Adventures in Learning. "My greatest passion is working with our youngest learners and seeing them grow and blossom each year!"
Ms. Trauth attended Bradley University from 2015-2017 working towards her bachelors with double majors in early childhood and special education with an ESL endorsement. She is currently studying early childhood education with an ESL and special education endorsement at National Louis University.
Outside of the walls of SAA, you can find Ms. Trauth cooking, traveling, reading mystery novels, going on long walks, and spending time with loved ones.
